Growing up on an island, you don’t think of yourself as Caribbean — you simply live it. Only after leaving do you begin to see what shaped you: warmth, ingenuity, humanity. Those qualities guide my work — care, honesty, and what feels real. In New York, they meet grit and scale. That tension shapes my practice.
